From its inception, The House of Hunt is a performance company that weaves the elements of fantasy, costume, theatre, dance, music and dark fairytales brimming with all kinds of human animals. From zebras, wolves, a panther, hunting dogs, and battle-ready war horses, animals continue to be an endless source of inspiration.
As a small child Liliane learned the Tales of Beatrix Potter by heart. The walking-talking animals dressed in Victorian attire spawned a new generation of children’s literature. As a teenager she witnessed the animals at a circus in Europe, horrified at their dejected state and failed to understand that viewing them could be entertainment. As an adult, her mission is to create incredible art inspired by nature, human and animal and give back however or whenever possible.
The House of Hunt includes three rescue dogs on the board and is proud to announce that it has been able to support and raise monies for the above charities.
